This site is dedicated to Kapilvastu, now in Nepal, where Lord Buddha spent his youth about 1900 years before Christ. This site is maintained by people, who were born and raised in Kapilvastu. As Bhagwan Ram said, "Janani Janm Bhumischa Swargadiapi Gariyasi" (Mother and motherland are bigger than heaven), we respect and love our birth place Kapilvastu and Nepal. This site will give you a glimpse of the history and culture of Kapilvastu.

About 100 years of excavation and archaeology have yielded the ruins of the palace where Lord Buddha lived, and other significant objects. This site will present pictures of some of those findings. Various aspects of kapilvastu and Nepal as a whole are also presented.
